Q Assignment Instructions Class, you are going to make a sales presentation to a colleague who will be role playing as your customer using the tools that you have hopefully learned in the course. The requirements are the following: • You have to nominate your product or topic with the professor by the end of the first week of class. • There has to be an appointment made just as a salesperson would make an appointment with a potential customer. • You need to have dependable technology, specifically a computer, a camera, a microphone, and a dependable Internet connection. • You need about 20 minutes of your time to complete the exercise. • You need to use Blackboard Collaborate Ultra which you have used previously in your Elevator Pitch and in another instance or alternatively, you may use Youtube or an alternative media by mutual agreement with your Instructor. • You need to have PowerPoints ready to use or the items to demonstrate. • You need to have practiced the presentation. • You need to follow the grading format by which you are going to be graded. You may elect to use YouTube or similar but mutually agreed media to recording and submit your presentation - using Vimeo or YouTube. You may be able to attach your recording to Messages or the assigned assignment link. More information is provided in the folder. Check with the instructor to make sure that he/she has a device that plays the method of recording that you are going to use. If you do not have a computer with a camera and microphone, then you need to contact the professor ahead of time. You should be able to use a computer with camera from a friend or colleague - or from your work site. The professor and you will need to agree upon which recording option will work best for both of you prior to your presentation. You may contact your instructor through the Messages link in the course menu. The professor's preference is the one that will be the deciding factor.
